Annet Nakku, a 39-year-old woman who represented Wakiso Disabled Women Association (WADDWA) and a mother of three, expressed her eagerness to seeing the impact the project brings. “It’s the first time I have seen such an inclusive approach to disability rights in our district. I believe this will make a significant difference in our lives,” she said. Annet hopes the project will help women and girls like her acquire knowledge, skills, and opportunities to advocate for their rights.
